Managed Switch Port Mapping Tool 1.9

The Managed Switch Port Mapping tool is designed to communicate with a managed ethernet switch using SNMPv1/v2c and map the physical port connections to MAC and IP addresses of the attached devices. The software is designed for use on Microsoft Windows® operating systems.

- Results can be saved in XML and reloaded for later review.
- Work with Multiple Switches Easily - switch and device 'configurations' including IP addresses and community names are automatically saved in a database and can be loaded for rapid change between different switches. No need to re-enter switch information.
- Integrates into NetScanTools Pro 10 Optional Tools menu. Operates standalone or as a tool launched from within NetScanTools Pro.
Requirements:
- Operating Systems Supported: Windows 7/2008/Vista/2003/XP/2000 (x86 32 bit versions or x64). Not tested on Windows XP x64 or 2000 x64, but we assume it will work fine. Does not require elevated UAC privileges for operation on Windows Vista. This program is a 32 bit program.
- Managed Switch with IPv4 address running SNMPv1/v2c and qBRIDGE-MIB or BRIDGE-MIB. We have successfully tested it with a number of brands and models of switches. Some switches may require enabling SNMP access or specifically allowing access to bridge mib.
- Switch Compatibility List (as reported to us by users and from our own internal testing)
- Ethernet IPv4 connection to managed switch.
- Read privilege community name for accessing switch data. Write privilege community name is required only if you want to enable or disable a port or set the switch name, location and contact information.
- DOES NOT require NetScanTools Pro for operation. It can run independently of NetScanTools Pro in standalone mode.
- Software must be installed, it cannot be run from a USB drive.
